Which printing process for my application?
For fixed-finish printed labels, the choice of the right printing process is paramount. Factors such as area of application, print image requirements (text, logo printing vs. image printing), label stock, further processing and external influences such as UV rays, moisture or heat, mechanical stress, temperature all play an important role.
Although somewhat outdated, letterpress (= letterpress printing) continues to play an important role in label production, as it can be used to print on a wide range of label materials for short- and medium-term use. Digital printing is particularly suitable for short and medium runs of color-printed labels and batches with many varieties or serialization or personalization. In combination with surface finishing (varnish, laminate), the durability and subsequent printing of labels can be massively improved.
Decisive for the success of the label order is the knowledge of your application. (Label material, requirements, durability, external influences, further processing). In a personal dialog, we clarify the necessary questions and build functional and economical label solutions.
