Direct thermal printing
How does direct thermal printing work?
In direct thermal printing, heat (= thermal) is transferred to the thermosensitive surface of the material. The heated areas turn black. Direct thermal printing is suitable for printing food labels (= vegetable, fruit and meat scales) and short-life labels (shipping labels, track & trace labels, tickets & tags, IFCO labels and more). Direct thermal printing is easy to use because of the elimination of the ribbon.
