How does inkjet printing work?
In inkjet printing, a print image is produced by the targeted firing of small ink nozzles or the deflection of small ink droplets. Like thermal printers, inkjet printers are non-impact printers. We distinguish between a) pigment ink and b) dye ink. Pigment ink has better resistance to external influences such as UV light and chemical resistance compared to dye ink. Inkjet printing is great for printing color labels from A-Z for food, beverage, logistics, automotive, commercial, industrial and healthcare.
